The new Splash Water World has slides, jets and games for the enjoyment of guests of all ages and is part of the All Inclusive program of the hotels
Ten years ago, RIU Hotels & Resorts opened its first hotel in Costa Rica: the Riu Guanacaste, located in Matapalo Beach, which was followed in 2012 by the Riu Palace Costa Rica. Now the chain has opted to offer a new offer of fun to the guests of the RIU complex, responding to the commitment to renew and expand its leisure offer. In addition, the enjoyment of the new park has no additional cost for customers as it is part of the All Inclusive program 24 Hours of the chain at the destination.
The new Splash Water World has five slides of different speeds, such as the aquaracer, a four-lane slide, and two body bowl tubes, to slide, in addition to different games with jets and water guns and swimming pools with aquatic elements for the most little ones. All the water fun necessary to have a great time at all ages!
With this new infrastructure, RIU wants to offer more dynamic activities for a greater number of participants as well as creating exclusive spaces for those clients who are looking for more adrenaline and fun during their vacations. This new water park is located at the entrance of the RIU Complex in Guanacaste so that it is easily accessible to customers of both hotels.
The Riu Guanacaste hotel, opened in 2009, is a 5-star, All-Inclusive hotel located on the fantastic Matapalo beach. It has 700 fully equipped rooms, five restaurants and five bars plus three swimming pools and a multitude of activities and entertainment for the whole family. In 2012, RIU opened the sophisticated Riu Palace Costa Rica hotel. With more than 500 rooms and five restaurants and seven bars, it shares common areas with its neighbor Riu Guanacaste, such as the casino or the spa, as well as different shops, and guests of both hotels can enjoy a private beach area and wonderful gardens that surround the two complexes.
