Design
The design of the hotel reflects the spirit of Marriott Hotels of creating inspiring spaces where guests can be the best of themselves. The design of the hotel is contemporary with clean lines and touches of Dutch nautical inspiration throughout the property. This includes Dutch colonial architecture combined with style elements of the typical plantations of the country, which welcome guests to an open-air, modern outdoor lobby with incredible views of the Caribbean Sea.
The color palette consists of relaxing neutral colors, decorated with blue and turquoise to reflect the local waters of the Caribbean. Hints of orange and brown wood tones are woven throughout the property to mimic the island's earth tones. Each room is equipped with private balconies, ocean or pool views, large flat-screen TVs, luxurious linens and spa-quality bathrooms. Each room is adorned with works of art made from recycled plastics.
Gastronomy
The award-winning Caribbean chef Dino Jagtiani is responsible for handling all culinary experiences on the property, including haute cuisine restaurant called C-Spice, Zala Gastro Pub, Papiamento Marketplace, Salty Iguana, Izakaya Bar Sushi and Great Room. C-Spice offers Caribbean food with touches of European and Latin American flavors with the option of eating in an outdoor or indoor dining room. Adjacent to the restaurant is a patio that features a cigar lounge and a bar with premium rums and spirits.
Services + Resort Programming
Ideally located a few minutes from the historic capital of Willemstad, the hotel has multiple services for guests to enjoy, including a swimming pool for adults and another for families, a children's club and a walking path throughout the property. Wellness is a focus for the property and the resort has a state-of-the-art gym with daily classes that include yoga, pilates, pool exercise and more. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment in the lobby on weekends, as well as the Reef Club, which offers a private lounge atmosphere with food and drinks.

Surrounded by lush vegetation, a botanical garden can be used for events in addition to an oceanfront space located on the white sand beach of the 930 m² resort.
