LATAM launches the first nonstop flight from Chile to Germany

From June 30, 2020, the airline will fly the Santiago-Chile-Frankfurt route three times a week without stops, operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft

 

LATAM started selling its new nonstop service between Santiago and Frankfurt, becoming the only airline to offer a direct flight between Chile and Germany.

From June 30, 2020, LATAM will fly three times a week nonstop between the two cities, operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft with 30 seats in Premium Business and 217 seats in Economy. With this new itinerary, LATAM adds 10 weekly flights, both directly and through its connection center in São Paulo / Guarulhos, to the fifth largest city in Germany and one of the most important financial centers in Europe.

"This direct flight between Santiago and Frankfurt enhances connectivity between Chile and Germany, significantly improving flight time," says Nicolás Salazar, Vice President Network, LATAM Airlines Group.

LATAM Airlines Group flight LA708 will depart from Santiago (SCL) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:20 p.m. (local time) landing in Frankfurt (FRA) at 5:40 p.m. (local time) the next day. Flight time: 14 hours and 20 minutes.
The return flight (LA709) will depart from Frankfurt on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 7:25 p.m. (local time) and arrives in Santiago at 04:40 (local time) the next day. Flight time: 15 hours and 15 minutes.
