Holger Paulmann steps down to take over the chairmanship of the company's board. His replacement is the current CFO, José Ignacio Dougnac
SKY announced that Holger Paulmann will assume the chairmanship of the company's board of directors and that his successor as CEO will be the current chief financial officer, José Ignacio Dougnac.
“We can proudly say that we are fulfilling our purpose of making heaven available to everyone. Now the time has come to take on a new responsibility as chairman of the board, from where I will be able to further drive SKY's sustainable growth, ”said Paulmann.
At 36, Dougnac will become the youngest CEO in the South American aviation industry. Their challenges will be to project the continuity of the SKY culture, one of Paulmann's main internal achievements, and to drive the company's growth and international expansion strategy for the coming years.
The change will be effective from April 1, after concluding the transfer and transition process that began in late 2019.
Dougnac joined SKY in 2014 as CFO and since 2016 he has served as CFO, successfully leading the fleet renewal plan and the airline's installation in Peru.
