Films showing Brazilian tourism are good leisure options for this moment when staying at home is a necessity imposed by the coronavirus pandemic. Thinking about it, the Tourism News Agency prepared a list of works, national and foreign, that showed in the cinema the beauties of our country, such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Jalapão, Foz do Iguaçu and the Xingu National Park. The suggestions go through stories of struggle, the life of a country duo, the adventures of the Brazilian God and even films by the famous spy James Bond, adventurer Indiana Jones, Hollywood animations and Marvel hits. Movies can be watched on various streaming services and on cable channels (many are free to access). Below, a little more of our selection. No spoiler, but there is even a city that became known as “Roliúde Nordestina”.
Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian city most visited by tourists, has already been the setting for the production of many films. In addition to national films such as Cidade de Deus, Corcovado and Central do Brasil, Rio de Janeiro played a major role in foreign works.
