This afternoon the launch of the campaign “Come2MexicanCaribbean” (in English) and VenAlCaribeMexicanoX2 (in Spanish) was carried out through a press conference made by Zoom.
Roberto Cintrón, president of the Cancun and Puerto Moreles Hotel Association commented: "The campaign was born in the commercial heart of Atelier de Hoteles and has been raised to our entity and then the other associations of Quintana Roo have been joined. They are participating 200 companies and which also has state support. It is worth clarifying that the registrations are still open so there will be new providers shortly. It is estimated that a total of 20 million Mexican pesos will be invested in this promotional action in order to reactivate the market "
Oliver Reinhart, CEO of Hotel Atelier said: We worked on an idea with our own resources to share with colleagues and partners taking into account ideas from the past that had been successful and also those that had not worked. The idea at first was to promote Cancun, but later, when the other destinations had been added, it was transformed into a larger initiative. The important thing is that we have all understood that we need tourists to come to the region because it is essential for each company. "
Vicente Madrigal, Commercial Director at Atelier de Hoteles stated: "Different promotions were created. In the case of hotels, 2 nights of free accommodation are being offered for every 2 nights paid. The same will happen with car rental companies, which offer 2 days free paying 2 days rent. The idea is that number 2 is always present in each promotion to respect the name of the campaign. "
