Similarly, the program seeks to take care of the well-being of its associates and the community, keeping the health of all people as a top priority.
As part of the program, intensified hygiene and safety measures have been introduced in all areas of the hotel. These include an increase in the frequency of cleaning and disinfection of public areas and frequent contact points, continuous temperature controls for all guests and associates, a care kit for guests with face masks, disinfectant wipes and gloves, observation of proper social distancing which is favored by the vast extension of Mayakoba (250 hectares), reduced capacity in common spaces, continuous cleaning of all air filters and air conditioning systems, cleaning and sterilization of room amenities such as glassware, towels and sheets, disinfection of footwear and luggage and a time of 24 hours between each use of room to allow a deep cleaning and sanitization. Associates will be subject to constant health reviews and the use of protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment, and the Health and Safety Ambassadors program will be introduced, who will be responsible for implementing and supervising new practices, procedures and training. .
The reactivation of the services and facilities of Rosewood Mayakoba will be done gradually in order to take care of the well-being of guests and associates. In its initial stage, the Punta Bonita restaurant will be opened for breakfast and lunch, while dinners will take place on the beach of Aqui Me Quedo. The suite service without contact will be enabled and romantic dinners and other intimate gatherings may be reserved for groups of people traveling together. The Rosewood Explorers gym, beach pools, spa (treatments only), boutique, and kids club will be available. Mayakoba services such as the golf course, tennis courts and water sports will also resume operations.
