Hilton to begin rolling out CleanStay worldwide

Next week, Hilton will begin the worldwide launch of a new program to deliver an industry-unprecedented standard of cleaning and disinfection at all its properties around the world. Created in collaboration with RB - manufacturer of Lysol and Dettol, and Mayo Clinic - world leader in healthcare, Hilton CleanStay is based on the already high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all Hilton properties globally, where they are currently used. commercial grade cleaning products, and includes new protocols to help Hilton guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay.

Hilton guests can expect to see changes at some hotels around the world starting next week. The Hilton CleanStay program is expected to be implemented in most Hilton hotels across its 18 brands in mid-July.

Online: Even before traveling, guests will find a new page at Hilton.com/cleanstay detailing what to expect during their stay. In addition, private hotel websites will be updated to indicate that new cleaning protocols and procedures have been implemented.

The Lobby: Guests who want a contactless arrival experience can register, choose their room, access their room with a digital key (where available) and check out using their mobile devices through the mobile application. Free Hilton Honors. This option is available at more than 4,700 participating Hilton properties around the world for guests who book directly through the Honors app or on Hilton.com. For a traditional check-in, physical distancing measures will be implemented guiding guests during the check-in and check-out process in person safely.

Cleaning Service: The rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before the arrival of a new guest. Housekeeping during the stay will be based on guest preference, recognizing that some guests may not want staff to enter their room. Additional services, such as bedding and toiletries, will be available at the request of the guest, will be delivered in a protective package and will be placed on the door of the room.

Public Areas: There will be a higher frequency of cleaning public areas. For example, fitness centers can be closed for cleaning several times a day. The equipment will be adjusted and positioned appropriately to allow physical distance, and the number of guests allowed at the same time may be limited. The pool and its surroundings will be cleaned frequently throughout the day, and physical distance measures will be implemented. Stations with hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes will be available throughout the property at main entrances and in key high traffic areas.

Food and Beverages: In hotel restaurants, tables and chairs will be spaced to ensure proper physical distance. Disposable plates and utensils will be available upon request of the guest. During breakfast, the restaurants will offer different options to take away, plated and undercover food, and a la carte service. When room service is requested, if available, guests will receive a free contact service; orders, plates and utensils will be for single use and will be placed outside the door of your room.

Meetings and Events: The new Hilton EventReady program with CleanStay will set a new standard for meetings and events at Hilton. This program will offer cleanliness, flexibility, safe and socially responsible solutions, as well as creative food and drinks, the latest technology and sustainable practices. While Lysol and Dettol will be the most widely used products in countries where Hilton has properties, hotels will also have access to other RB brands and leading commercial grade products.
