MINTUR has developed the “Responsible Operator” seal, an automated promotion system for registered providers
In order to make use of this operator seal attached to Responsible Tourism, the tourist accommodation registered with the Ministry of Tourism or the restaurant of the national territory must contact the corresponding Departmental Government to request the sworn declaration. With this, the operator assumes the commitment to "strictly comply with the National Protocol for the Reactivation of Tourist Activity, of which it has full knowledge and accepts in all its terms."
At the same time, once the form is signed as an affidavit, a sticker will be delivered to the registered operator or to the restaurant, which can be displayed in their establishment and in which the tourist can follow and verify during their stay in the accommodation or during their stay. restaurant experience.
The control and supervision of the protocol will be in charge of the departmental governments, who will be empowered to establish observations, faults and even sanctions in case of non-compliance with it. In this way, the tourist will be able to enjoy the Uruguayan attractions with ease and the worker in the sector will have the necessary sanitary guarantees.
The Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with CAMTUR, implemented a National Tourism Promotion System, which allows registered tour operators to develop their own ads for dynamic creativity to promote their services digitally. To do this, Dynamic Creative Optimization technology is used to generate a different advertisement for each operator interested in being part of the national campaign.
In order to generate the ads, operators must enter the platform and enter their registration number and then complete the requested fields. The great objective of this campaign is to generate interest and traffic from users to the web pages of the different tour operators that participate in this initiative. The digital media selected will be through programmatic purchasing platforms.
At the same time, the Ministry of Tourism launched a massive campaign on Monday under the slogan: "Enjoy your country again, enjoy yourself twice", to convey confidence to Uruguayan tourists that they are taking the necessary precautions to return to the exercise.
