With 100% compliance with the requirements of the biosafety protocols, the Decameron Barú, Cartagena and Galeón hotels in Santa Marta received the Biosafety Check-in seal certified by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, through the SGS Certifier and with the endorsement of the World Tourism Organization, thus ratifying the company's commitment to the safety of its visitors and workers.
"After a process of audits, the SGS Certifier has granted us this seal for three of our hotels, with 100% compliance with the requirements and we are currently in the process of certifying our other hotels", said Fabio Villegas, President Decameron Hotels, and added, “In Decameron we have worked our biosafety protocols taking the recommendations and guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Travel Council, however receiving this certification is a great satisfaction, as it reflects the effort we have made to be able to provide peace of mind to our visitors ”.
With this seal, which covers the criteria contemplated in Resolutions 666 of 2020, 1285 of 2020, and the 'Decameron Health Inclusive' protocols, the hotel chain seeks to generate trust among travelers and visitors, minimize the risks of contagion, encourage tourism in the country and promote the recovery of the national economy.
Currently, the chain of hotels and resorts is in the process of certifying the other hotels in Colombia, in order to guarantee the health and safety of visitors and collaborators during vacations.
