Panama extends suspension of international flights

The Controlled Operations Center operation is excepted, which allows the departure, transit of passengers and the entry to the country of Panamanians and residents

The National Government through Resolution No. 133 / DG / DJI / AAC of the Civil Aeronautical Authority, decided to extend for 30 calendar days, the suspension of all international flights ordered by Resolution No. 107 -DG-DJ-AAC of July 16, 2020, starting at 11:59 pm of August 22, 2020, for public health reasons.
The ban will apply to all international Passenger Commercial Aviation and General Passenger Aviation flights.

International Passenger Commercial Aviation and General Passenger Aviation flights are excepted, operating under the rules, conditions and procedures established in Executive Decree No. 300 of July 31, 2020, which establishes a Controlled Operations Center for the Interconnection
of International Commercial Aviation at the Tocumen Airport.
The center allows the exit, the transit of passengers and the entry to the country of Panamanians and residents.

Likewise, those flights of a humanitarian nature and necessary to transport products, medical-hospital equipment, medicines, vaccines and any other public health supplies required to face the COVID-19 pandemic are excluded.
