Volaris announces new international route Mexico City - Sacramento

Volaris, the only ultra-low-cost airline that connects Mexico with the Sacramento airport, is launching a new route that connects directly with Mexico City as of November 10. The new Mexico City-Sacramento route is now available for purchase on the website at a special rate of US $ 89.99, and will operate two frequencies a week.

This new route from Mexico City joins the service that Volaris already provides, connecting Sacramento with Guadalajara and Bajío so that more friends and family can find themselves traveling peacefully thanks to its Biosafety Protocol.

Volaris began operations in Sacramento in 2012 and has since transported more than 685,000 people between Sacramento and Mexico. The distance that separates Mexico City and Sacramento in California is about 59 hours by bus. The new Volaris route from Mexico City to Sacramento offers the following schedules and frequencies.

Mexico City - Sacramento
Start of operations: November 10, 2020
Frequencies: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Leaving on Tuesdays and Fridays from Mexico City at 8:00 p.m. and arriving in Sacramento at 10:45 p.m.
Departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Sacramento at 00:15 and arriving in Mexico City at 07:00
