After several months and during the containment against the Covid-19 virus, the Government announced the gradual opening for the events industry in the country as of September 9
Meetings are an important source of knowledge transfer, business, economic reactivation, innovation, creativity, and attraction of new talent, which is why, since the beginning of the pandemic, the venue saw the need to adapt with protocols, virtuality and new standards . Its premise is that knowledge should not stop, just as other colleagues have already opened their doors, Costa Rica will not be left behind, and rather will be a benchmark for the new way of doing events worldwide.
“For the Costa Rica convention center, this announcement is important because it has been a joint public and private effort for the meetings in Costa Rica to reopen. Without a doubt, the meetings are sources of knowledge, exchange, innovation and creativity that are transversal to all sectors of the country. ”, Added Álvaro Rojas, General Manager of the Costa Rica Convention Center
Additionally, the Convention Center reiterates its commitment and is prepared with internationally certified health safety protocols, with new standards of food and beverages, entry to the venue, assembly of rooms respecting social distancing, certified personnel, new times of constant cleaning with hospital grade products, among other measures.
