LATAM announces gradual increase in its domestic operation

The airline informed that it will offer more frequencies in domestic destinations in Chile, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. Three international routes originating in Santiago and Sao Paulo will also be resumed

LATAM Airlines Group reported its operation for September, which will offer more frequencies in domestic destinations in Chile, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador, as well as the start of the national operation in Colombia. Three international routes originating in Santiago and Sao Paulo will also be resumed. The group's operation is subject to travel restrictions in the countries where it operates.
During the month, LATAM expects to fly to 11 destinations in Chile, going from 20 to 35 frequencies daily. On international flights, the novelties will be the Sao Paulo-Montevideo and Santiago-Montevideo flights (one weekly frequency each), two weekly flights from Santiago to Los Angeles and New York respectively, an increase to three flights a week from Santiago to Madrid , in addition to the São Paulo / Guarulhos-New York flight (three times a week).
Until now, LATAM operated select domestic destinations in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Ecuador, as well as international flights from Santiago to Miami and São Paulo / Guarulhos; the latter, a connection center for European destinations: Frankfurt, Lisbon, London and Madrid.

LATAM Group Operation
● Brazil: LATAM Airlines Brazil will go from operating 171 to 243 daily domestic flights, reaching 44 destinations within Brazil. To this, it adds the operation through a shared code with Azul Linhas Aéreas, presenting LATAM passengers with seven new destinations: Montes Claros and Governador Valadares (Minas Gerais), Juazeiro do Norte (Ceará), Petrolina and Fernando de Noronha (Pernambuco), Campina Grande (Paraíba) and Viracopos (São Paulo).
● Peru: LATAM Airlines Peru will operate flights to seven domestic destinations from Lima: Chiclayo, Iquitos, Pucallpa, Piura, Tumbes, Trujillo and Talara.
● Colombia: LATAM Airlines Colombia awaits the resumption of operations to Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena, Leticia, Medellín, Santa Marta and San Andrés.
● Ecuador: LATAM Airlines Ecuador will operate 30 weekly frequencies within the country, increasing 50% compared to August. The destinations are Coca, Cuenca, Guayaquil and Manta from Quito; as well as Baltra and San Cristóbal (Galapagos Islands) from Guayaquil.

Given the uncertainty generated by the health crisis, passengers will be able to buy their tickets to travel with flexibility.
The company has strengthened its safety and hygiene measures, implementing the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the health authorities of the countries where it operates and the International Air Transport Association.
The mandatory use of a mask during the entire flight, alcohol gel available on the plane, reduced interaction of the crew with the passenger, among others, stands out.
Finally, LATAM recommends that its passengers review the applicable mobility restrictions for the destination.
