DAP expands its air fleet

Grupo DAP is a Chilean holding company for air and maritime transport, logistics services in Antarctica and tourism that is synonymous with Patagonia. Its foundation dates back to 1980 in Punta Arenas by the Pivcevic family, today the 3rd generation at the head of the management.

Aerovías DAP, Mineral Airways, Antarctic Airways, DAP Helicópteros in Chile and Argentina are the brands that represent the air transport service. With its own bases in Punta Arenas, Santiago de Chile and El Calafate. DAP Mares in Punta Arenas is the one who manages the services of the Betanzos logistics ship, an ice class category prepared to fulfill missions and highly demanding expeditions in the southern seas.

Today Aerovías DAP is the oldest private airline in Chile in force since it has owned the same holding company since its foundation.

This aircraft has a range of 4 hours of flight, which is equivalent to about 5,300 km in length, which makes it an agile and adaptable medium to the needs of the Client.

The Citation CB550 joins the company's smaller fleet, which, in addition to a large fleet, has BAE (British Aerospace Company) Avro RJ models with capacity for 90 passengers.
