More investors come to the to develop important properties
With the implementation of Phase 3 of the Tourism Preparation and Recovery Plan - which will begin on October 15 and will include the reopening of beaches and large hotels - The Islands of The Bahamas announces the launch of new luxury residential and hotel developments.
Here is a list of the most outstanding projects that are being opened:
Montage Hotels & Resorts
Montage Cay, a 4,000 m² private island resort and residential community in The Abacos. The private island boasts seven beaches, expansive sunrise and sunset views, and stunning scenery, all in the calm turquoise waters of the Abaco Sea. Set to become one of the most exclusive ultra-luxurious tourist destinations in the Caribbean, Montage Cay will combine Montage's unmatched service with the natural beauty of the region.
Tiger Woods and Jack's Bay Company
Developers of the new private Jack's Bay club in Rock Sound on the island of Eleuthera, inaugurated The Playground, a spectacular golf course created by Woods' TGR Design. This is the first of the club's major recreational facilities to open soon.
Baeumler Resort
Canadian married couple Bryan and Sara Baeumlers found this property closed during a vacation visit to South Andros Island and came up with the crazy idea to renovate it. Bryan was already a seasoned renovation professional, lending his talents to HGTV shows, including Disaster DIY and House of Bryan.
They quickly went to work renovating the 18-room hotel and clubhouse, which had 22 villas, into a boutique dream hotel. After intensive work, the luxurious Caerula Mar Club resort opened its doors at the end of 2019, but the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) forced them to close the resort in 2020, shortly after it first opened its doors, for everyone's safety.
