During his speech, Minister Marcelo Álvaro cited the measures adopted by the federal government to help the sector and highlighted the important mission of, always with great confidence, addressing the resumption of activities. "The key word is responsibility in the return of activities, which must always follow biosecurity protocols," he emphasized. The minister also highlighted the sensitivity of President Jair Bolsonaro to understand and support Brazilian tourism. "The president is aware that tourism is a great generator of employment and income," he said.
The Board is made up of representatives of Embratur; the Ministries of Tourism, Foreign Relations, Economy, Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications and Environment; the Brazilian Association of the Hotel Industry (ABIH); the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM); the Brazilian Association of Maritime Cruises (CLIA Brazil) and the Brazilian Association of Tour Operators (BRAZTOA).
