The luxurious hotel in the Yucatan Peninsula adds strategic staff to lead the new stage in the new normal

Hyatt Regency Mérida, one of the best-known hotels in the Yucatan Peninsula, is getting ready to welcome its visitors to this new normal and announces the arrival of its new Leadership team.
The property with more than 20 years of history welcomes Sarah Levorato who comes from Brazil to take the position of General Manager.
My first experience with Hyatt was in your university internship when I was 18 years old. She followed her dream of studying abroad where she even completed her double Bachelor of Hotel Management in Switzerland. Then in 2008 she returned to Hyatt as a Guest Services Agent at the Grand Club of the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she demonstrated her ability to assume leadership responsibilities and was promoted to Supervisor in charge of the daily operations of the Grand Club and Reception.
Over the next several years, she continued to grow her Hyatt career with leadership roles in the rooms division at Park Hyatt Dubai and Grand Hyatt Santiago, until her promotion to opening General Manager of Hyatt Place Sao Jose do Rio Preto in June 2016.
At the same time, she welcomes Chef David Reyes. Leader with great experience, knowledge and tenacity who participates actively in research projects on culinary techniques and products from the Yucatan Peninsula.
His career as a chef covers different positions in the Kitchen area, as well as in different workplaces such as: Executive Sous Chef for the Cancun Harbor Port, Kitchen Chef for the Banyan Tree Mayakoba hotel, Executive Chef for the Mia Reef hotel Isla Mujeres, and currently as Executive Chef for the Hyatt Regency Mérida Hotel.
Finally, the hotel welcomes Marisol Mora as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. The executive has a degree in Gastronomy, which gave her experience in the operation of restaurants and events, however, she was interested in direct contact with clients and hotels. She specialized in organizing events and increased her experience in weddings, groups and conferences. He has excellent knowledge and experience in the sales area, and demonstrated skills that allowed him to join the Hyatt Regency Mexico City hotel in 2014, until he became associate director of sales and events at Andaz Mayakoba, where, due to his leadership, dedication, passion and commitment, won the Hyatt Sales Leadership Award in 2018 at the Americas level, non-director.
Hyatt Regency Mérida has implemented new services and new experiences for its users. The hotel has newly remodeled Rooms, Suites and Regency Club, and continues to renovate its public spaces.
In addition to the renewal, the Club at the Hyatt Membership has also improved - which has great benefits for members such as special rates, discounts at shopping centers, free nights and more.
Papillon changes its image to Papillon Market, which is located in the hotel lobby where you will find the same Papillon products and more, such as fresh juices, fresh fruit, gourmet sandwiches and a wide variety of coffees.
Lastly, there have been updates to the Spasso and Peregrina menus. Its culinary offer has been improved and increased, maintaining gastronomic excellence.
