After being closed since April 1, the Punta Islita hotel located in Guanacaste reopened its doors this November 1 completely renovated
Among the novelties of the reopening, are its new menus, which can be enjoyed in its Alma and Aura restaurants, created under the concept of sustainable gastronomy and "Kilometro 0", which incorporate ingredients that can be purchased at less than one kilometer around, thus generating support for the local producer and the community.
The kitchen is led by chef Randy Siles, who is committed to the design of unique gastronomic experiences through a human kitchen with identity, with a positive social and ecological impact, generating a holistic awareness.
The Spa was also renovated, which is inspired by Chorotegas and thalasso (treatments with sea water from the area), turning it into a wellness center that provides a complete, gastronomic and experiential experience beyond the treatments.
The hotel is immersed in nature, located in a blue zone, full of biodiversity and close to the beach, which facilitates the realization of a variety of activities, both adventure and exploration (bird watching hike, monkeys, and more species ), gastronomy (classes of star dishes, mixology) and culture (class of key rings, painting, local gastronomy), these are taught with direct personnel from the community to ensure an indigenous experience.
The complex opens according to the health guidelines requested by the national government, but also by the protocols defined by Marriott International. From the use of a mask by your hosts, sanitizing areas to exposure through UV light for a deeper cleaning in social and gastronomic areas.
