Restart of Azur Air Ukraine operations in Dominican Republic
La Romana Airport celebrates the resumption of operations of the airline belonging to the Anex Tour Group that in October landed its B767 with 320 passengers on board arriving by direct flight from Kiev
This operation will continue with 2 weekly operations, Wednesdays and Saturdays, going to 4 weekly rotations from the second half of November, which for the La Romana Airport “shows the confidence of the Ukrainian tourist market in our country and strengthens our relationship with GrupoAnex Tour, the second world’s largest tourist group, to strengthen the reopening of tourism in the Romana - Bayahibe destination so in the Dominican Republic”.
Aligned with this, Mr. Çağıl Beylan, Anex Tour Group - Director of Operations for America, expressed his great satisfaction at the reopening of Azur Air Ukraine's operations at La Romana Airport and said that “we received our last flight from Ukraine to mid-March, more than 7 months ago. During that time, we adapted all our international regulations in accordance with the new normal, also establishing protocols adapted to local health regulations. We trust the Dominican Republic, government support for tourism promises a lot and we believe that our guests will continue to enjoy their vacations as they always did.
