Colombia promotes nature tourism

From November 17 to 20, ProColombia will organize the eighth version of the Colombia Nature Travel Mart

Nature tourism is one of the segments with the greatest potential in Colombia, since the country's environmental wealth, added to the new international demands for sustainable outdoor activities that really connect with the destination, are characteristics of the new tourism industry that it will be key to economic reactivation.

Legacy activities of the Colombia Nature Travel Mart
CNTM 2020, even in its virtual format and maintaining the tradition of this event, will positively impact the conservation of the environment through two Colombian initiatives.
The first of these is Corales de Paz, an NGO that through diving involves tourists and residents in the restoration of the coral reefs in San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina. The other initiative is Guardian of the Trees of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, this project created by Brisas del Cauca aims to adopt the planting of a tree to support the protection and conservation of biodiversity.
In this order of ideas, ProColombia will add these two initiatives to the Macro Wheel in order to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment and will seek to position the message of the importance of sustainability for the development of tourism in the country.
