Panama has been making significant investments to position itself in international tourism and one of the segments where it has the greatest potential is MICE. The connectivity, hotel infrastructure and the new convention center are just some of the axes of a promising future for the country.
In this context, Panama has had an outstanding participation in the Virtual Fiexpo, hosted buyers from all over Latin America, the United States and Europe participated in the event, among which Latin American and international associations stood out, seeking venues to hold their congresses, as well as incentive companies, major tour operators and conference organizers.
Panama has had a pavilion where each of the 19 co-exhibitors had their virtual stand and was able to hold online meetings in addition to contacting all participants through the exclusive platform of the Fair.
Prior to the opening of Fiexpo Virtual, the Political Forum was held on November 25. It has brought together Ministers, Secretaries of Tourism, Governors, Mayors, Parliamentarians who are members of Tourism Commissions, Directors of Tourism at the national, provincial or departmental level, Mayors, Politicians in general directly or indirectly involved with the tourism sector, Directors or Presidents Convention Bureau and authorities of the most important international associations in the sector that show the power of the MICE industry and their role as key players.
