In these tours the visitor will witness the process of making the drink, the techniques of planting, harvesting and treating the grain, an effort made by more than five thousand producer families that harvest about 45 thousand bushels throughout the region.

“We are in the best time to make a coffee tour of this characteristic fruit, in addition, since last December 1, the José Figueres Ferrer Museum opened its doors, a museum that tells part of the history of the civil war of 1948. This proposal is complemented by the wide range of activities found in the region, ranging from bird watching such as quetzal or hummingbirds, enjoying adventure and journeys through the mountains, or visiting protected sites such as the Biosphere Reserve, on the Savegre River or Los Quetzales National Park.
