Uruguay offers PCR test to passengers leaving the country
Carrasco International Airport has an ATGen laboratory in its facilities, which allows passengers to carry out the Covid-19 test and have the result in a few hours
The new space is installed outside the terminal, next to the Arrivals gate, and provides a comprehensive service for travelers, so that they can board their flights, with the security of the result of the PCR test carried out the same day. in compliance with all protocols and sanitary requirements.
The test can be scheduled through the ATGen website, reserving the day and time or going directly to the place located at the airport, 6 hours before the flight departure time. Results will be delivered in less than 4 hours.
The hours and availability of the testing center will be subject to the days and time of the flights, only for passengers leaving the country. The service is designed in a first stage to cover the departures of Iberia, Air Europa and Latam flights.
With this initiative, the Carrasco Airport ratifies its commitment to provide the best guarantees for travelers and contribute to the decongesting of the testing laboratories for the detection of coronavirus in the local health system and comply with the new requirements of the destination countries.
