As The Bahamian Islands continue to welcome international visitors, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation has revamped its Bahamas.com website with new features and functionality that allow consumers to easily plan their vacations. The new interface is very easy to use and includes tools to promote travelers' favorite attractions, such as romance, meetings and events, and adventure. This new website has the option of viewing the information in Spanish (Bahamas.com/es).
"We are excited to bring the new and improved Bahamas.com to consumers at this time and provide them with a simplified way to plan their next trip to The Bahamas," said Minister of Tourism Dionisio D'Aguilar. "The new features will help future travelers discover the hidden gems of our islands."
What's new in Bahamas.com
Itinerary Planner: Travelers who want to make the most of every minute of their time in The Bahamas can use the Itinerary Planner at Bahamas.com. While planning their itinerary, users can view sample itineraries to be inspired by their own. Through the trip planning software, HipTraveler, future travelers can select favorite hotels, restaurants and attractions on the website to create their itineraries and book experiences.
Discover Your Next Adventure: Throughout Bahamas.com consumers will see a "Discover Your Next Adventure" feature, which highlights experiences similar to their interests. The feature serves to incentivize travelers to explore more of the islands and cays of The Bahamas and will find blog content that provides an insider's view of the experience or destination.
Experiences: The Experiences feature presents a detailed list of offers from The Bahamas. From fishing and diving to culture and sights, potential travelers can learn more about activities specific to their interests and add those experiences to their itineraries.
