The hotel will provide a room free of charge for 14 nights until the guest recovers
Allure Chocolat Hotel by Karisma Cartagena, a property belonging to Karisma Hotels & Resorts, announced today that it will offer free accommodation for 14 nights to those guests from the United States who test positive for the antigen for Covid-19.
If a guest's test results are positive, Allure Chocolat Hotel by Karisma Cartagena will provide quarantine accommodation until a doctor certifies authorization to travel with a negative result for a period of up to 14 nights.
Additionally, the first antigen test for Covid-19 is included free of charge for guests from North America who require a negative result before returning to their home cities, in response to new CDC requirements.
Once a qualified host tests positive for antigen, the host must pay for an additional PCR test to be eligible for free quarantine for up to 14 days.
Additional antigen testing beyond the first test will not be covered for guests traveling to the U.S. For guests whose countries of origin require a PCR test (i.e. residents of Canada and the United Kingdom), Allure Chocolat Hotel by Karisma Cartagena will have the test available at its facilities at a market rate.
