The airline will implement an ambitious marketing plan to strengthen its position in the industry through a 100 percent Mexican concept
Under the creative concept of XV years, the airline will have exclusive promotions during the month of March. With great discounts on all its tickets, as well as additional benefits for v.club members, Volaris invites the general public to purchase its flights this year and next, as the promotions will apply on trips until October 2022.
The Volaris anniversary sale holds the world record for the highest number of tickets sold in a 24-hour span by an airline (2019). Similarly, Google recognizes it as the most important event in terms of search and sale of airline tickets in Mexico. Since its inception in 2006, the airline has carried more than 120 million passengers.
In addition to this aggressive sales strategy, Volaris will complement its marketing plan with unique activations in the industry, such as the branding of a commemorative plane at its XV years, the search for Quinceañeros who have not been able to celebrate their birthday to invite them to a celebration of height.
“One of the biggest celebrations in Mexico, without a doubt, is the XV years. It is a unique moment to share with the family, from planning to the end of the celebration. We come from a year that changed the dynamics with our loved ones and, today, 2021 gives us the opportunity to recognize the effort of adaptation and resilience of Mexicans, through a concept that is very ours ”, commented Daniel Gelemovich, director of marketing and Volaris digital.
The rationale for the campaign is based on the most important segment for the airline and that represents 60 percent of its market, that of travelers whose main reason for travel is to visit “friends and family”. It should be noted that this segment, although it was strongly affected by the pandemic, is the one that reactivated the fastest.
