The new attraction will open its doors on October 1 of this year in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort
During The Walt Disney Company's virtual annual shareholders meeting, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that the grand opening of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT will be on October 1, 2021. This new family-friendly attraction will officially debut as part of the kick-off of “The World's Most Magical Celebration” in honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure invites guests into the savory world of Disney and Pixar's Academy Award®-winning animated film “Ratatouille,” where they'll feel like they've shrunk down to the size of Chef Remy and sneak past the famous restaurant of Gusteau. Visitors will find Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in a recently expanded area of the France pavilion in the park, where the real gets fantastical in a movie-inspired reinvention of Paris.
A delicious new restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, will also debut in this section of the pavilion on October 1, offering quick service and table options. The menu will include sweet crepes, tasty buckwheat galettes (naturally gluten-free) and authentic French cider. The expansion of the attraction, restaurant, and pavilion are part of EPCOT's historic transformation currently underway, bringing a variety of new experiences to the park in a celebration of curiosity, discovery, and the magic of possibility.
"The World's Most Magical Celebration" begins October 1 on the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. This 18-month event will feature new experiences at the resort's four theme parks and more, where sparkling iridescent decor will magically appear. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris will now join in the festivities of this historic occasion. More details on the celebration will be released shortly.
