Brazilian hotel is chosen the best in the world by Tripavisor
Located in Gramado (RS), Colline De France was chosen the great winner of the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards
The best hotel in the world is located on Brazilian soil. It is the Hotel Colline De France, in Gramado (RS), chosen by travelers from all over the world in the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Awards 2021. The ranking of the Tripadvisor website is based on the ratings that guests give to the establishments in categories such as location, cleanliness, service and cost-benefit. The hotel title was earned after receiving a maximum score (5) in 1,565 traveler reviews.
With a style and decoration reminiscent of France, the hotel has 34 suites, which feature hand-carved furniture in an imperial style. Since 2018, the project has a credit line from the General Tourism Fund (Fungetur) to carry out works to improve the services provided to guests. During the pandemic, the hotel had resources of R $ 2.7 million for working capital. In total, R $ 6.7 million were invested through the Fund.
“This is an achievement of Brazilian tourism and a recognition that the Ministry of Tourism is on the right path through actions that allow the development of our sector, as is the case of Fungetur. I am sure that the resumption is closer than we think and that it will be great ”, commented the Minister of Tourism, Gilson Machado Neto.
For one of the owner-partners, Jonas Tomazi, recognition is the realization of a dream. "What to say in this magical, extraordinary and special moment? We want to thank everyone who has been with us since the beginning of our dream called Colline de France. But the most special thanks goes to our team. Without them none of this would happen, none of this would be imagined by us ”, he commented excitedly.
“Without the support of the Ministry of Tourism, we could not make this great and desired dream come true. The arduous journey, from the conception to the realization of the project and also during this resumption, was only possible thanks to the assistance of the Ministry of Tourism ”, concluded Tomazi. The hotel also has the Responsible Tourism Seal, which establishes biosafety protocols against Covid-19.
OTHER AWARDS - Brazil was also well represented in other award categories, such as the best small hotels: Hotel Vila Kebaya, in IlhaBela (SP) - 5th place - and Vila da Santa Hotel Boutique & Spa, in Armação dos Búzios (RJ)) - 13th place.
In the category of best romantic hotels, Valle D´incanto Midscale Hotel, in Gramado (RS) appears in position 20. Among the best inns, Pousada Gaia Viva, in Igaratá (SP) - 5th-; Pousada Quarto Crescente, in Trancoso (BA) - 13 -; Casa do Ilha do Mel - Pousada de Chamer, in Ilha do Mel (PR) - 20-; and Pousada Recanto do Arraial, in Arraial d´Ajuda (BA) - 22.
Regarding Resorts, the All Inclusive VilaVip Hotel Fazenda, in Serra Negra (SP) guaranteed the tenth place. The Anttunina Pousada Spa, in Maragogi (AL), appears in 3rd place among the new and fashionable hotels in the world, while the Serrambi Resort, in Ipojuca (PE) was chosen 19th among the main hotels perfect for photos.
