Officials from PROMTUR Panama recently had a productive meeting in New York with Luis Maravi, Director of Memberships and Programming of the US Tour Operator Association (USTOA), the most important vacation tourism organization in the United States that brings together the main tour operators of this country. Members of the Copa Airlines sales team have also been present there.

The objective has been to update the USTOA on the Master Plan for Sustainable Tourism (PMTS) and the work plan as a Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) in the United States, its priority market.

They also discussed the participation of the Central American country through PROMTUR Panama in the Annual Convention of Tourism and Service Operators, where buyers and tourism providers as well as other DMOs will attend, to be held in San Diego, California from December 7 to 10 of this year. , the event is sponsored by the USTOA.
