“Punctuality for Viva is a philosophy and a pride for our operation, because we understand that one of the wishes of people is to arrive at their destination on time. Today we are a benchmark for punctuality in the country and we work day by day, not only to contribute to the connectivity and air inclusion of the region, but to transform the industry, improving the offer to travelers from all areas: punctuality, quality in the service, low prices, more destinations, which has meant that the sector in general advances and improves its services, among them, its punctuality rates ”, commented Francisco Lalinde, Vice President of Operations of Grupo Viva.
With nine years of operations, Viva has proven to be a catalyst for the air market as it is the Company that opted to lower prices in Colombia with its well-known 'Viva Effect', which has meant a reduction of up to 40% in the costs of airfares in the country. With a growing fleet of 22 aircraft, including 8 A320 neo, which reduce the environmental impact on its operations, hand in hand with its attractive prices and the incorporation of new national and international destinations, Viva contributes to the development and connectivity of the region, by making flying by plane an increasingly latent reality for all Latin Americans.
It should be noted that, within the framework of its growth and expansion plans, Viva recently inaugurated direct routes to Mexico City from Bogotá, and to Cancun and Orlando from Medellín. Similarly, at the beginning of August it will begin operations to Mexico City from the capital of Antioquia.
With the new international destinations of the Company, there are already 26 national routes to 12 destinations in the country and seven international routes in five destinations that include Peru, Mexico and the United States that Viva operates in Colombia, which confirms the acceptance of the model of Low Cost in the country and the good time the airline is going through, which makes it possible for many more people to fly, to more destinations, paying less and with the best standards of safety and punctuality in their itineraries.
