The company announced that tomorrow the first direct flight between New York (JFK) and Santiago de Chile (SCL) will land at Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport
The service between SCL and JFK becomes the third direct route that American operates to the United States from Santiago, including daily flights from Miami (MIA) and Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW). From JFK, American will offer access to the main cities of that country and Europe.
The aircraft used for the flights to Miami and Dallas / Fort Worth is the Boeing 787, while the aircraft that will operate the flight to New York will be a Boeing 777-200, with 36 seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy and 212 in the Main Cabin.
Likewise, the company assures that the projections are to arrive in November 2021 with a daily flight between New York and Santiago.
