The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) is pleased to welcome as a new member airline TAG Airlines, a company with 50 years of experience providing commercial and private aviation services.
TAG Airlines operates 12 national and international routes in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize and soon to the south of Mexico with a fleet of 15 Turbo Prop aircraft and a Jet ERJ 145.

TAG seeks to continue expanding with the recent obtaining of its ISSA safety certification after having participated in the program jointly promoted by ALTA and IATA and with the start of its IOSA certification process.
“The ISSA Program is a powerful tool to further strengthen the safety indices in civil aviation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Through this initiative we have convened more than a dozen airlines in the region and, today, of the 10 ISSA certified airlines, nine are based in our region and six are ALTA members. It fills us with pride and daily reinforces our commitment to making steady progress in the great objective of offering the safest means of transport ”, Botelho points out.
