The event will take place in a innovative hybrid format on two different dates
Travel professionals from around the world can register for WTM London 2021, which will take place for the first time in an innovative hybrid format.
The physical event will take place at ExCeL London from Monday, November 1 to Wednesday, November 3, 2021, and will be followed by WTM Virtual, from November 8 to 9, 2021.
WTM London will be one of the first key opportunities for those working in travel and tourism around the world to meet in person as the industry embarks on the road to recovery.
The new hybrid format means that buyers and exhibitors will be able to conduct business face-to-face; Then the virtual element allows companies and organizations to increase their brand awareness and join in on networking opportunities, even if they cannot physically attend the fair.
An important advantage is the fact that all exhibitors exhibiting the physical event will be automatically included in Virtual WTM as part of their package.
The physical event will feature all the elements that WTM London has become known for, including the UNWTO and WTM Ministerial Summit, the Responsible Tourism Awards, keynote speakers, seminars, speed networking, research and trends, Travel Forward - the collocated travel technology show and more. There will also be exclusive networking opportunities for high-end business buyers.
Simon Press, Senior Director of WTM London, said: “WTM London is always a crucial time for the industry to come together to plan, network and generate ideas. This year it is vital for us to meet face-to-face, renew business relationships and forge new partnerships as we seek to recover. "
“In addition to more than 40 years of experience in organizing physical events, the WTM team has been putting on successful virtual shows throughout the course of the pandemic, which means we have unrivaled skills and knowledge to create an exciting hybrid show to which must attend ".
"We hosted a very successful Arab Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai in May, which was the largest face-to-face travel and tourism event in the world since the beginning of the pandemic."
“ATM combined a four-day in-person event with a virtual event a week later and generated very positive feedback from participants. The event shows how the hybrid format can offer the best of both worlds and help the industry to recover, rebuild and reconnect as quickly and efficiently as possible.
“Recent research has shown that buyers are eager to return to physical events, and trade shows in particular, to search for new business opportunities.
"The WTM London hybrid show will allow all delegates to stay ahead of their competitors and promote themselves to a global audience."
"We offer virtual booths combined with an on-site brand presence and new digital tools to generate business opportunities and keep up with the latest industry trends."
WTM London is working closely with local authorities, ExCeL London, Public Health England and Transport For London to ensure the highest possible levels of health and safety for attendees.
The global travel industry will assist WTM London to come together, generating business and ideas that will drive the recovery of the travel and tourism industry.
