The ultra-low-cost Mexican airline that operates in Mexico, the United States and Central America, concluded the IATA audit, with the aim of obtaining certification in both countries
The airline is working on monitoring the results to achieve the eighth consecutive recertification for Volaris Mexico and the first recertification in the history of Volaris Costa Rica. This confirms the Company's commitment to permanent compliance with the highest safety standards.
The audit to evaluate compliance with the IOSA standard contemplates more than 900 requirements on the operational safety and quality control systems of the airlines in the administration and control at the corporate level, aircraft operation, dispatch and flight control, operations engineering and maintenance, civil aviation security, flight attendants, land and cargo operations and other activities related to quality and operational safety.
The IOSA standards are developed by specialists from IATA and other international organizations, as well as airlines, and are continually updated. Likewise, IOSA adopts the security requirements described in the ICAO annexes.
