The Cruise Division of the MSC Group today officially received its new flagship, the MSC Seashore, the largest cruise ship built in Italy. Her sister ship, the MSC Seascape, is currently under construction at the Monfalcone shipyard and is scheduled to enter service in winter 2022.
An intimate ceremony was held to mark the occasion, as tradition dictates, at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone and was attended in person by the Executive Chairman of MSC Cruises, Pierfrancesco Vago, other members of the Aponte and Aponte-Vago families, Giampiero Massolo and Giuseppe Bono, Chairman and CEO of Fincantieri, as well as representatives of the MSC new construction team together with executives and shipyard workers. New RINA endorsements
The MSC Seashore has received two additional class endorsements from the RINA classification society. On October 31, the ship will depart Genoa for an epic 18-night cruise relocating to North America.
