Royal Caribbean welcomes Latin America´s agents aboard Freedom of the Seas

Attendees were able to share best business practices and visit the company's private island located in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay

With agents from all over the region, Royal Caribbean International held its first seminar aimed at travel agents and the media on board Freedom of the Seas, one of its most iconic ships departing from Miami and having among its destinations the Perfect water park Day at CocoCay, located on the private island in the Bahamas.

It should be noted that this is the first seminar that the company has held since it reactivated its operations in June as part of the strategies and approaches it carries out with its business partners and the media to send a message of confidence to cruise passengers from all over the world.

During this 4-night journey, those attending the seminar had the opportunity to learn about the technological implementations and health protocols that the company has designed to deal with the pandemic. These innovations have made use of technology to avoid crowds on the ships, streamline the check-in process, facilitate the practice of the drill, renew the fresh air inside the ship, improve its medical facilities, but above all continue to provide the best experiences for cruise passengers, shared Lucas Bueno, Trade Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Manager for the region.

“Something that I would like to highlight is that we understood that the fifteen months that we were not sailing was an incredible opportunity to improve and innovate in many of our processes, so from day one we began to design the protocols that have allowed us to return to navigation safe. During these months we strengthened communication and work with our most important business partners, which are travel agents and journalists, therefore, we have implemented different strategies to strengthen their professional development, the seminar has been part of that ambitious dream with the that we are seeking to strengthen each of them. This effort joins the famous community SOY AGENTE ROYAL, the Royal Talk who already turned one year old last April,

Through these seminars, the company seeks to share best business practices with travel agents, as well as promote an exchange of business experiences among attendees. Likewise, present the different amenities that the company has on each of its ships, the routes that are about to be inaugurated, enjoy different themed parties on board the ship and get to know the most important water park in the Caribbean, Perfect Day at CocoCay, on the private island of Royal Caribbean, which was acquired at the end of the 80s and in 2019 it was inaugurated under that name and has an investment of more than 250 million dollars, which has made it one of the most emblematic attractions from the Caribbean.
