The country already has more than 29,000 stamps issued and there are destinations where 90% of the services already have the distinctive
Attentive to the resumption of tourist activity and the figures that show that the return of trips has been taking place through beach destinations, some national destinations have more than 70% adherence to the Responsible, Clean and Safe Tourism Seal , an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism that offers biosafety protocols for 15 tourist activities, guaranteeing health security for tourists and workers. So far, 29,418,000 tourist companies and tourist guides have already requested the issuance of the seal.
The Bahian municipalities of Mucuri and Camamu have more than 90% of their tourist service providers registered in Cadastur already with the seal. Also in the Northeast, Cairu (BA), São Miguel dos Milagres (AL) and Japaratinga (AL) appear with adhesions higher than 70%. In the southeast appear the cities of Anchieta (ES) and Tijucas (SC) with adherence greater than 80%.
“Looking at the figures and the movement of the sector, the perspective is that already in the next summer season it will be possible to reach the levels of occupation and movement corresponding to the period prior to the pandemic. And certainly the adhesion of tourism companies and professionals to the seal will be fundamental at this time ”, commented the Minister of Tourism, Gilson Machado Neto.
One of the great trends for the resumption of tourism activity is the search for tourism projects considered safe from a health point of view, due to the coronavirus pandemic. In this sense, the Ministry of Tourism launched, in June 2020, the Responsible Tourism Seal, placing Brazil among the top 10 countries in the world to implement health protocols for tourism. Initiative praised by the largest international organizations in the sector, the UNWTO and the WTTC.
