In his day-to-day life, Lemmerling will oversee the daily operations, the professional development of his staff, the planning of budgets and finances, as well as the implementation of new experiences for the taste of the guests in the multi-property complex, including Aruba. Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Marriott Aruba Surf Club, and Marriott Aruba Ocean Club.
A passionate hotelier with over 20 years of experience, Lemmerling attended Hotel Management School in Amsterdam before joining the Marriott International team. The new General Manager developed his career in Hospitality Management with various operational and commercial positions throughout Europe, including his position as General Manager of the iconic Westin Paris Vendome and London Marriott County Hall. Throughout his career he has led timeshare resort management, his most recent position being General Manager of the London Marriott group of seven properties. In his new role, Lemmerling brings his talents to Aruba's "Happy Island" during the peak of travel resumption.

Lover of languages, Lemmerling is fluent in four: Dutch, German, English and French. Currently, the new General Manager is interested in adding the Creole language, Papiamento to his repertoire, as well as forging long-term relationships with the local community on the island.
