From August 31, a new protocol will govern to visit the paradise Ecuadorian destination
The National Emergency Operations Committee (COE) issued the following resolutions, in relation to the requirements for entering Galapagos by air, which will take effect from August 31, 2021, starting at 11:59 p.m.
Foreign tourists:
All passengers over 16 years of age must present a negative result of an RT-PCR test carried out up to 72 hours before boarding the flight and the vaccination card against COVID-19 with the complete scheme of at least 14 days of validity.
All minors between the ages of 2 and 16 must present a negative result of an RT-PCR test carried out up to 72 hours before boarding the flight.
National tourists and / or residents of Galapagos:
All passengers over 2 years of age must present the negative result of an RT-PCR test carried out up to 72 hours before boarding the flight.
All passengers, both national and foreign, must present the traffic control card issued by the Government Council of the Special Regime of Galapagos.
The National COE will evaluate this provision in 15 days, and it may be maintained or modified depending on the epidemiological situation of the Galapagos Islands.
Entrance to Continental Ecuador:
Any person entering continental Ecuador by international air must submit the Traveler's Health Declaration, digitally, which can be found at the following link: https://bit.ly/3mka9tl .
Additionally, passengers over 2 years old need the negative results of an RT-PCR test to enter the country, with a maximum of 72 hours prior to boarding or the vaccination card with the complete schedule, at least 14 days before the trip.
