The FAEVYT Travel Agents Congress began yesterday

The opening ceremony was led by Gustavo Hani, president of the Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Agencies -Faevyt-; Matías Lammens, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation; Fabián Lombardo, Commercial Director, Route Planning and Management of Aerolineas Argentinas; Ricardo Sosa, Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion - INPROTUR -; Claudia Grynszpan, president of the Federal Council of Tourism - CFT -; Sebastián Giobellina, president of the Tucumán Turismo Autárquico Entity; Yanina Martínez, Secretary of Tourism Promotion of the Nation, and Fernando Mingone, president of the Tucuman Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies - ATAVYT -. In addition, the opening was attended by the ministers and secretaries of tourism from all over the country.

With all the measures and health care, the first day of the Congress also featured lectures and workshops given by specialists to empower travel agencies. Guillermo González, speaker and business consultant, opened the conference with his 5 keys and a secret for business in the post-pandemic. Next, it was the turn of Augusto Salvatto, who reviewed the current situation and added the perspectives for 2022, focusing on the international context and his influence in our country.  
Regarding the workshops, the day began with thematic meetings that addressed the new challenges of accessible tourism and the current situation of student tourism. To end the first shift, the National Parks took center stage in a workshop that was nurtured by the different experiences of the agents specialized in the sale of this type of tourist package. For his part, Fabián Lombaro from Aerolineas Argentinas, took stock of the work carried out in the flag carrier and the prospects for what is to come.
During the afternoon, different workshops of interest to the sector were held: the keys on the current situation of tourist transport, and air transport with representatives of the FAEVYT air transport commission, and IATA. Also, from the hand of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, the details of the Pre-trip program and the development of Social Tourism at the national level were known.
An intense day was lived full of joy for the reunion of the sector and with enormous expectations for what is to come. Tomorrow the Congress will again offer workshops and outstanding talks so that travel agencies can add tools and knowledge to grow.
