Wingo continues with its expansion plan with the aim of facilitating access, through its low rates, to thousands of Colombians to world-class destinations, and that is why today it announces the arrival of a new aircraft for its fleet of aircraft. .
This modern Boeing 737-800 Next Generation, with capacity for 186 travelers, will allow Wingo to increase the number of flights on the routes that it already operates successfully and to continue exploring new destinations that need not only low prices but also quality and good vibes; in order to consolidate its network of routes that today already reaches 28 in 11 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The arrival of this new aircraft is part of the fleet increase plan that Wingo began in 2020, and with which it replaced its first 4 Boeing 737-700 aircraft with the 737-800 Next Generation reference, which are larger aircraft, technology state-of-the-art, extremely high standards of reliability and fuel efficiency.
In addition, the great versatility of these new aircraft, as well as their low operating costs, offer a great competitive advantage to Wingo that is much needed today during the reactivation of the airline industry in the world.
