Air Canada resumed its regular operations in Argentina

As planned, Air Canada resumed its regular passenger operations to and from Buenos Aires this weekend. The flights initially operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays linking the Argentine capital with Montreal, via Sao Paulo, operated with B787 Dreamliner.

"The wait is over. With great joy and pride we reconnect with regular flights to Argentina and Canada after 20 months since the Pandemic forced us to suspend our passenger services. Buenos Aires has historically been a very important route for Air Canada and the new operation will allow the passenger more and better options to connect with business, pleasure trips, study trips and family visits that have linked Canada with Argentina throughout weather. The company continues to rebuild its global network from its Operations Centers in Toronto and Montreal, maintaining its strong commitment to the local market, ”said Ignacio Ferrer, Country Manager for Air Canada in Argentina and Uruguay.

Flight AC96 departs from Montreal at 9:50 p.m. to arrive at Ezeiza International Airport at 2:50 p.m. the next day, and returns as AC97, departing from Buenos Aires at 5:05 p.m., with scheduled arrival time at 6 a.m. the next day. always via Sao Paulo.

For those whose destination is Toronto, passengers on flight AC96 embarked in Buenos Aires will be able to make an immediate and simple connection at Guarulhos airport with the daily direct service San Pablo-Toronto, also operated with Boeing 787.

Towards the end of March 2022, the service from Buenos Aires is scheduled to return to its traditional flight to Toronto, allowing in that case a simple connection in São Paulo to Montreal.
