ALTA welcomes a new airline

SANSA is a regional airline in Costa Rica based at the Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José and founded in 1978 in order to exclusively serve internal flights in the Central American country.
 
SANSA currently has a network of domestic routes in 13 Costa Rican cities. Most of the routes connect to coastal towns such as Tamarindo, Nosara, Tambor and Quepos, as well as to tourist destinations near the national parks of Costa Rica such as Liberia and La Fortuna, Puerto Jimenez, Drake, among others.

In 2011, the company was recognized as the best airline in Costa Rica by CANATUR and as the company most committed to the development of tourism in the South Pacific area. After 43 years of operation, SANSA is one of the most important airlines in Central America. Its fleet consists of 9 Cessna 208 Grand Caravan aircraft including 4 EX models.
