Emirates signs a new distribution agreement with Amadeus

As of February 1, 2022, all commercial partners will be able to access the airline's content without any surcharge

Emirates has signed a new agreement with Amadeus, expanding their collaboration to offer the travel industry community more flexibility, choice and future capabilities.

As of February 1, 2022, all Amadeus business partners will be able to access Emirates content free of charge.

The new agreement will also see Emirates' New Distribution Capability (NDC) content integrated into the Amadeus Travel Platform, with NDC content to be made available to travel sellers throughout 2022.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates Chief Commercial Officer, said: "We are delighted to renew our partnership with Amadeus. It is another step in our quest to empower our trading partners to deliver even better customer experiences. In the current environment , and particularly as the industry rebuilds from the pandemic, everyone in the travel service chain will benefit from flexible engagement models, multiple means of accessing rich, dynamic content, and the ability to offer products and differentiated services.

To cater to a dynamic market, Emirates intends to offer its trading partners a range of connection options and differentiated products and benefits across all channels, including through its own NDC-enabled direct connection platform, Emirates Gateway.
