The participation of Embratur (Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion) in Fitur, in Madrid, Spain, was a success. The Brazilian delegation at the event was attended by the president of the Agency, Carlos Brito, the manager of International Advisory and Management of Units Abroad, Heitor Kadri, the head of the Special Advisory of the Ministry of Tourism, Rafael Luisi, and the head of the Ministry's International Relations Office, Ambassador Jorge Kadri.
Fitur is the largest tourism fair in the Ibero-American market and one of the most important in the world, and this year it had more than 110,000 participants, bringing together thousands of companies and visitors. The Brazilian stand at the event was designed to present the beauties of the country in more than 300 square meters, with more than 20 co-exhibitors, bringing experiences to the tour operator who wants to get to know our country better and also to the tourist who wants to visit it.

During the 5 days of Fitur, the leaders met with tourism representatives from different countries, such as the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Mozambique, Eldevina Materula. In the meeting with the president of Embratur, Carlos Brito, and the Minister of Tourism, Gilson Machado Neto (via videoconference), the leaders exchanged information on the tourism market, discussed alliances in the sector and joint campaigns, in addition to requesting support to the articulation with the CPLP to include Portuguese as the official language of the UN.
