The hotel chain will continue to be present in the cars of the F1 team
McLaren Racing and Hilton today announced a multi-year extension to their long-standing partnership, which has been in place since 2005.
The relationship enables Hilton to provide unique experiences to its Hilton Honors members and offers the McLaren F1 Team a home away from home at its hotels at race venues around the world.
By committing once again to a multi-year extension, McLaren Racing and Hilton can also continue to develop and innovate their unique content joint activation programme. Most recently, this included the popular "Ride to School with Lando" feature, which became one of McLaren's top five most viewed Instagram grid videos with over two million views. The film featured a boy being driven to school by McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris after his father won the ride through his Hilton Honors membership.
The Hilton brand will continue to feature on McLaren F1 race cars from 2022.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Hilton, a long-standing and supportive partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team. Hilton is a global brand that excels at providing the best travel and adventure experiences for its customers. As part of the partnership, we will continue to produce collaborative campaigns that bring together our aligned approach to travel and experiences for customers and fans around the world."
Chris Silcock, Hilton Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our partnership with McLaren enables us to deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences to our Hilton Honors members and create authentic and engaging content. As brands, our goals align with innovation, culture, and performance, so it's exciting to extend our long and successful partnership. We are also proud to show our commitment to offering the warmest Hilton welcome, providing a home away from home for the McLaren racing team as they travel around the world."
