Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana innovates and incorporates a multi-sensory dining experience

The use of technology is increasingly common in the contemporary world, including in environments designed to enjoy the attractions of a particular location, such as in the hospitality industry, for example. The Covid-19 pandemic made the sector reinvent itself to be able to attract users and make experiences different.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is one that has recently innovated to captivate the target audience and adhere to current trends. The novelty introduced by the hotel is to enable a multisensory gastronomic experience to guests. The concept is currently on the rise among several companies and was even incorporated into the current edition of Big Brother Brasil during the lunches of the leader of the week. The dynamics allow participants to explore multiple senses at the same time while enjoying the meal.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana's multi-sensory experience comprises a high-resolution video projection, interactive touch table, aroma synchronization, augmented reality and sound system. All items are added to the moment of tasting the dishes, served exclusively to guests who opt for the service. The concept is called 'Awaken your Senses', which in Portuguese means 'Awaken your senses'.

According to the corporate director of RCD Hotels for Latin America (the chain that manages the Hard Rock Hotels an All-Inclusive Experience), Leonel Reyes, the intention of 'Awaken your Senses' is to enable guests to have a differentiated experience during meals, in order to allow the senses of the human body to be explored.

“The initiative aims to offer an experience in which guests can activate their senses in a way that causes synesthesia, that is, that sensations are integrated and provide memorable moments that make them have good memories of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Punta Cana”, highlights Reyes.

The multi-sensory dining experience at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana lasts 90 minutes. Available times are 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Capacity varies from four to 12 people.
