Cartagena will host the ALTA CCMA & MRO Conference

The event is the technical and commercial meeting point for the airline industry

The ALTA CCMA & MRO Conference is the main and oldest aviation maintenance and technical purchasing conference in Latin America and the Caribbean, recognized for bringing together each year a large number of airline and supplier representatives who develop connections, share good practices and work together to develop solutions for air transport. In 2021, the conference brought together more than 500 participants, 100 airline representatives and more than 400 representatives of companies that provide technologies, parts and services, being a meeting that helped promote the recovery of aviation in the region.

This event is organized by ALTA in conjunction with ALTA's Maintenance and Technical Purchasing Committees, both made up of airlines, and with the Suppliers Steering Committee, an organization that represents supplier companies and whose objective is to advise the ALTA CCMA conference. & MRO in its planning, organization and execution, so that the voice of the suppliers is heard by the organizers of the Conference.

José Ricardo Botelho, Executive Director & CEO of ALTA, indicated that “the conference remains relevant after its 70-year history, of which 17 have been organized by ALTA. This conference considers the priorities and interests of airlines and suppliers in order to bring them closer together in the joint search for efficient solutions. The ALTA CCMA & MRO Conference manages to connect air transport technical actors in a unique way and has done so continuously, even in 2020, the year in which no face-to-face events were held due to the pandemic, which demonstrates the very high value that this event has for its participants and the industry”.

In 2022, the ALTA CCMA & MRO Conference will be held in the city of Cartagena, Colombia, from May 15 to 17.
