The tool is available free of charge to all customers with international travel scheduled between 6 and 48 hours before their flight
The LATAM group recently implemented "Ready to fly", an additional and optional digital service that seeks to facilitate the experience of its customers, specifically in terms of documentation required to travel in times of global health crisis.
The passenger will be able to send the required health documents by Whatsapp, between 6 and 48 hours before the flight, facilitating the organization of the documentation and its advance presentation for check-up by the airline. The LATAM group will review them and provide a response.
"This new functionality is added to the different tools that the group has made available to passengers and that aim to improve their travel experience, reducing processing times prior to the flight and optimizing time at the airport," says Paulo Miranda. , Vice President of Customers of LATAM Airlines Group.
How does it work?
The passenger or user will receive an email with a link to the LATAM Airlines WhatsApp account.
If interested in using this service, the passenger must select the language in which they wish to be served.
The passenger will receive the Terms and Conditions associated with the service and must expressly accept them in order to continue.
The passenger must enter their travel data.
The system will ask the passenger for their identity document, the mandatory health form, in addition to the updated COVID test or vaccination certificate (these documents must be sent in PDF or image format), in accordance with the health requirements of each country.
Once reviewed, the passenger will receive a confirmation or rejection message within the same day.
The incorporation of this tool seeks to generate greater comfort for its passengers and a shorter waiting time at the airport, in addition to minimizing boarding denials due to incomplete travel documentation. Likewise, the LATAM group reinforces its commitment to safety as a non-negotiable in the operation of the LATAM group's flights.
